Our first product, Request Invoicing, allows any business and organization to bill and receive payments in both traditional currencies and digital ones such as USDC, DAI and USDT among many others in the list. Our global and fully remote team is constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower Defi (decentralized finance) and Crypto first businesses around the world. The Partnerships and Business Development team is expanding with a Business Development Manager to reinforce its business operations across the world and our network of partners. Partners include Defi, DAOs, and crypto first companies This position will be responsible for working closely with both the Business and the Marketing team to execute the business strategy and close deals. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and experience in partnering with crypto-first businesses. The successful candidate is highly connected to the crypto communities and projects ,and familiar with digital wallets and payments across blockchains. This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Marketing teams. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Drive meaningful partnerships with Defi and crypto first top players. Identify partners and onboard them taking into account technical needs and requirements. Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential partners and clients, including opportunity tracking, calls, and follow-up. Identify new opportunities for the company via partner input and work collaboratively across all functions to scope our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future. Understanding of blockchain products and technology to inform and influence our product roadmap and support and execute on product plans. Track, analyse, influence and communicate key metrics to build opportunities. Build a strong network of contacts within the blockchain industry and be able to leverage it to strengthen the business. QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in Business development Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing and operations. Good knowledge or blockchain fundamentals and DeFi, so you can learn quickly about Request and our value proposition in order to effectively structure deals and partnerships. Bonus – this makes you stand out Experience working with Crypto industry A self-starter who demonstrates proactive collaboration with an aptitude to learn new skills, take calculated risks, and problem solve.
